OpenClaw Helper (the “Software”) is developed by Laputan YAO. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
Core principle: the Software is designed to be local-first. Your AI chats, files, and working content are not uploaded to our servers.
2. Data We Collect

3. License Validation
- Initial activation: requires internet access to validate the license key and device fingerprint with the server
- Periodic validation: once every 24 hours while the app is in use
- Offline grace period: you can continue using the app normally for 7 days after going offline
- Validation requests include only the license token and anonymous device fingerprint, not personal information or usage content
4. Third-Party Services
The Software allows users to connect third-party AI services on their own. These integrations are fully configured and controlled by the user.
We recommend reviewing each provider’s privacy policy before use.
- Cloud AI providers such as OpenRouter, Google Gemini, ZAI·AI, MiniMax, and NVIDIA
- Local AI providers such as Ollama (fully local, no network transfer)
- Messaging channels such as Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, and Feishu/Lark
5. Payment Information
Purchases are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card or payment details. Your email address is used only to deliver your license key and not for marketing.
6. Data Retention
- License records: retained until 90 days after license expiry
- Device fingerprints: deleted alongside license records
- Email addresses: used only for license delivery and not retained for unrelated purposes

8. Children’s Privacy
The Software is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use of the Software means you accept the updated policy.
